The Ad Council is a private, non-profit organization that marshals talent from the advertising and communications industries, the facilities of the media, and the resources of the business and non-profit communities to produce, distribute and promote public service campaigns on behalf of non-profit organizations and government agencies in issue areas such as improving the quality of life for children, preventive health, education, community well-being, environmental preservation and strengthening families.

The Natural Resources Defense Council is the nation’s most effective environmental organization, incorporating law, science and the power of 1.3 million members and activists to protect people, the places they live, and the natural resources they depend on. Founded in 1970, NRDC helped establish such bedrock environmental laws as the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts and continues to work to enforce and defend environmental policies and protections. NRDC achieves results in the courtroom, the boardroom and the halls of Congress. We take big polluters to court, push the government to enforce our environmental laws, and collaborate productively with major corporations interested in sustainable practices that are good for the environment and their bottom line.

Robin Hood holds steadfast to a single mission: fight poverty in New York City.  It finds, funds and creates programs and schools that generate measurable results for families in New York’s poorest neighborhoods.  Robin Hood works closely with the 200 organizations we support to help them reach capacity and maximize outcomes.  A rigorous system of metrics and third-party evaluation of these groups guarantee accountability.  The board pays all administrative, fundraising and evaluation costs, so 100 percent of donations goes directly to organizations helping New Yorkers in need to build better lives.
